Through peer mentoring activities and study visits, cities and regions learn how to finance the energy transition from the ones who understand it the most: their peers!

    Setting the stage: Innovative financing in the Stavanger Region – Rune Dahl Fitjar, Pro-rector for Innovation and Society University of Stavanger


    The Energy Company Lyse has considerable experience developing projects, and they also participated in the EU Lighthouse project Triangulum. Lyse will showcase a project where they have installed lamp posts as charging points for electric cars.

    Nordic Edge is a non-profit organisation that is most known for its smart-city conference, the Nordic Edge Expo, which takes place every year in September in the City of Stavanger. Nordic Edge is however much more than just the conference, and their latest project is Innoasis, a sustainable smart city hub.

    The Municipality of Gjesdal will present their EU-project FABOLUS and how they financed their driver-less busses in the City of Ålgård.

    The Energy Company Haugaland Kraft, where the Energy Company Haugaland Kraft will showcase their installation of a microgrid consisting of green energy solutions such as wind, battery and hydrogen, with the aim of making the small Island of Utsira, and Norway’s smallest Municipality, carbon free.
